Good Electrical Work Has Always Belonged in Springfield
Our licensed electricians deliver honest assessments, fair pricing, and leave every Springfield home completely clean.

Leading Residential Electrical Services in Springfield, OR

Springfield is often grouped with Eugene, but it carries its own established neighborhoods, its own character, and its own homeowners who expect quality work done honestly. Safety Home Services brings the same licensed, thorough approach here that we carry throughout Lane County and the Willamette Valley: show up prepared, do the job right, and leave the space exactly as we found it.

Every visit starts with a 10-point safety assessment that goes beyond the reported issue to check everything connected to it, so a small problem doesn’t quietly grow into a larger one. Our electricians lay down floor protectors, wear floor savers, and clean up completely before leaving. The only sign we were there is the work itself.

Springfield's Homes Have Evolved. Their Electrical Systems Should Too.

Springfield has a mix of older mid-century homes and newer developments, and both come with their own electrical needs. Panels that haven’t been updated since the home was built, wiring that wasn’t made for today’s appliance load, and circuits that trip when they shouldn’t are all familiar situations for our team throughout the area.

For Springfield homeowners adding EV chargers, upgrading lighting, or investing in smart home systems, the scope looks different but the standard is the same. One licensed team handles it all, every time.

See What Springfield Homeowners Are Saying

The electrician showed up on time and assessed the electrical issues on my girlfriends electrical panel at her house. The quote was free. He found there was a breaker that was incorrect for the panel and the main power breaker was somewhat corroded. He quoted us and then waited for the power company to shut off power and then fixed the issue promptly by installing a new correct breaker and then cleaning the panel. This was a big safety issue and the electrician waited patiently until our issue was resolved. The panel was sparking/arcing and created a fire hazard. As soon as the work was completed by Trevor the power in the home was working perfectly. We are grateful for the friendly and affordable service and especially how they were concerned with our safety and waited for the power company to turn off power and then fix our issue instead of rescheduling or going to a different job. Absolutely deserving of 5 stars!

I recently moved into my new home and had to have an EV charging plug installed and thought, well, might as well have extra outlets installed and ceiling fans too. The folks at Safety Home Services were so kind and responsive. Trevor at Safety home was able to give me an solution and start working on what needed to be done immediately. The solution and quote for everything that I needed to have done was about on par with what other places were quoting me. A bonus was the new monthly subscription at Safety Home that discounts 15% of any work done. Trevor was super professional and took time to explain all the ins and outs and made me feel good about the work that was being done. Being young and a first time homeowner can make it hard to trust whether people are being honest or trying to screw you over with work that has to be done on a home, but I never felt that way with Trevor and Victoria helping me out. They were super responsive and were always on time or communicative. I strongly recommend them for any first time homebuyers.

Safety provided excellent service! The tech (Kevin?) was a bit early, which was fine by me. I needed a new range hood/vent installed that I had already purchased on my own. He started by checking to see if the one I had was really dead or if there was a problem that could be remedied. He did discover that the fan wasn’t getting enough power to run and traced where the problem was coming from. He fixed it, but I wanted the new one installed anyway due to a color change. He got right to work getting the old one out and the new one in. He even made a trip to Home Depot to provide me with the correct light bulbs required, which I viewed as above and beyond. He was great to work with and I would recommend Safety to anyone in need of an electrician!

The Residential Electrician Springfield Homeowners Trust and Recommend

A lot of what we do in Springfield arrives through a neighbor’s recommendation, and that’s exactly the kind of business we work to earn. When someone sends a friend our way, it usually means the job held up, the price was fair, and the experience didn’t leave anything to question. Our team brings that standard to every home in Springfield and throughout Lane County.

Your Springfield Electrical Questions, Answered Straight

Older homes get a thorough look before any work begins. Our 10-point safety assessment covers the reported issue and everything connected to it, and if something unexpected turns up, you’ll hear about it clearly before we do anything about it. We work in mid-century homes throughout the Willamette Valley and know what to look for.

Yes, and it’s one of the most common requests we handle throughout Lane County. We’ll assess your panel capacity, walk you through your options, and complete the charger installation correctly, including testing with your vehicle when possible.

It can be a worthwhile step, particularly for older properties. A standard home inspection covers general electrical concerns, but a licensed electrician can assess the panel, wiring, and overall system in more detail. If you’re considering a mid-century Springfield home and want a closer look at what you’re working with, we’re happy to help.

Absolutely! It’s never a bad time to improve your home lighting to enjoy better energy efficiency or quality of life. We install recessed lighting, pendants, chandeliers, dimmers, and smart lighting controls throughout the home, all done cleanly and correctly from start to finish.

Whole-home surge protection is a single device installed at your electrical panel that shields every outlet and circuit in the house from voltage spikes. Unlike individual power strips, it covers everything in one installation, protecting appliances, electronics, and HVAC systems from the kind of damage that adds up quickly. We can add it during any service visit.
