One Call. Better Light.
Eugene lighting installation done right — from a single fixture to a full home upgrade.

Lighting Installation in Eugene, OR

Good lighting doesn’t just make a room brighter — it changes how you use it. A kitchen with the right task lighting becomes a space you actually want to cook in. A living room with layered light becomes somewhere you settle into at the end of the day rather than just pass through. A backyard with proper outdoor fixtures becomes an extension of the home instead of somewhere you stop going after dark.

Safety Home Services handles lighting installation across Eugene and approaches every job the same way — assessment first, installation second, nothing signed off until it’s tested and working. We handle the full scope and don’t leave until you know exactly what was put in and why.

Still Have Questions? Start Here

Scheduling varies depending on the time of year and project volume, but we do our best to get Eugene jobs on the calendar as quickly as possible. The best way to get a realistic timeline is to reach out directly. We’ll give you a straight answer on availability and work with you from there.

The difference shows up in how comfortable and functional a space feels day to day — a kitchen with proper task lighting becomes easier to cook in, a living room with layered light becomes somewhere you actually want to spend time. Most Eugene homeowners notice the change immediately after installation and wish they’d done it sooner.

Outdoor installations vary depending on where you want the fixtures and whether your home already has exterior wiring in place. We assess the full scope during the initial walkthrough and handle everything from running new circuits to final placement so the finished result works the way you imagined it.

That’s part of what the assessment covers. We look at how each space is used, what the existing wiring can support, and what kind of lighting — task, ambient, accent — makes the most sense before any fixtures go in.

Larger lighting projects — full home upgrades, smart lighting setups, extensive outdoor installations — can add up quickly, and financing options are available to help make the investment more manageable. Reach out, and we can walk you through what’s available before you book.

We Don't Cut Corners Because We Drove Further

Some contractors treat out-of-area jobs differently — tighter timelines, less thorough assessments, a quicker exit once the main work is done. That’s not how Safety Home Services operates. Eugene gets a highly-qualified team, upfront assessments, and the exceptional standards we hold every job to, regardless of how far we’ve driven. We don’t consider the job done until everything is tested, working, and you’ve been walked through what was installed.

The Reviews Are Glowing

The electrician showed up on time and assessed the electrical issues on my girlfriends electrical panel at her house. The quote was free. He found there was a breaker that was incorrect for the panel and the main power breaker was somewhat corroded. He quoted us and then waited for the power company to shut off power and then fixed the issue promptly by installing a new correct breaker and then cleaning the panel. This was a big safety issue and the electrician waited patiently until our issue was resolved. The panel was sparking/arcing and created a fire hazard. As soon as the work was completed by Trevor the power in the home was working perfectly. We are grateful for the friendly and affordable service and especially how they were concerned with our safety and waited for the power company to turn off power and then fix our issue instead of rescheduling or going to a different job. Absolutely deserving of 5 stars!

I recently moved into my new home and had to have an EV charging plug installed and thought, well, might as well have extra outlets installed and ceiling fans too. The folks at Safety Home Services were so kind and responsive. Trevor at Safety home was able to give me an solution and start working on what needed to be done immediately. The solution and quote for everything that I needed to have done was about on par with what other places were quoting me. A bonus was the new monthly subscription at Safety Home that discounts 15% of any work done. Trevor was super professional and took time to explain all the ins and outs and made me feel good about the work that was being done. Being young and a first time homeowner can make it hard to trust whether people are being honest or trying to screw you over with work that has to be done on a home, but I never felt that way with Trevor and Victoria helping me out. They were super responsive and were always on time or communicative. I strongly recommend them for any first time homebuyers.

Safety provided excellent service! The tech (Kevin?) was a bit early, which was fine by me. I needed a new range hood/vent installed that I had already purchased on my own. He started by checking to see if the one I had was really dead or if there was a problem that could be remedied. He did discover that the fan wasn’t getting enough power to run and traced where the problem was coming from. He fixed it, but I wanted the new one installed anyway due to a color change. He got right to work getting the old one out and the new one in. He even made a trip to Home Depot to provide me with the correct light bulbs required, which I viewed as above and beyond. He was great to work with and I would recommend Safety to anyone in need of an electrician!
