Better Air Is Just a Call Away
New fan, old fan, no wiring at all — every ceiling fan situation gets handled the right way.

Expert Ceiling Fan Installation in Eugene, OR

Eugene summers are warm, and the rooms that don’t have ceiling fans make that very clear. Whether it’s a stuffy bedroom or a living room that’s never had an overhead fixture, Safety Home Services handles every ceiling fan installation across Eugene the right way.

Older homes have a way of making ceiling fan installations more involved than they look — wiring that wasn’t designed for a fan, rooms without existing overhead fixtures, junction boxes that weren’t built to handle the weight. Our licensed electricians assess all of it before any work begins and handle everything in a single visit. The only thing we leave behind is a fan that runs right and a room that looks exactly as we found it.

The Questions Worth Asking Before You Call

The cost depends on a few factors — whether the room has existing wiring, the type of fan being installed, and whether any hardware like a junction box needs to be replaced. We give you a clear solution before any work begins so you know exactly what to expect before we start.

Counterclockwise pushes air straight down and creates the cooling effect most people use in summer, while clockwise on a low setting pulls cool air up and redistributes warm air that collects near the ceiling in winter. We set the fan to the right direction for the season before we leave and show you how to switch it yourself when the weather changes.

Most homeowners start with the rooms they use most — bedrooms, living rooms, and covered outdoor spaces — and add more from there. We can help you figure out which rooms would benefit most based on your home’s layout and how you use each space.

Removal of your existing fan is included as part of the installation process so you’re not left dealing with the old hardware yourself. We take it with us when we leave so your space is clean and ready to enjoy as soon as the job is done.

Financing is available for homeowners who want to spread the cost of their installation over time. Reach out before you book, and we can walk you through what’s available so you can make the decision that works best for your budget.

When the job is done, the only thing that’s changed is the fan on your ceiling.

The electrician showed up on time and assessed the electrical issues on my girlfriends electrical panel at her house. The quote was free. He found there was a breaker that was incorrect for the panel and the main power breaker was somewhat corroded. He quoted us and then waited for the power company to shut off power and then fixed the issue promptly by installing a new correct breaker and then cleaning the panel. This was a big safety issue and the electrician waited patiently until our issue was resolved. The panel was sparking/arcing and created a fire hazard. As soon as the work was completed by Trevor the power in the home was working perfectly. We are grateful for the friendly and affordable service and especially how they were concerned with our safety and waited for the power company to turn off power and then fix our issue instead of rescheduling or going to a different job. Absolutely deserving of 5 stars!

I recently moved into my new home and had to have an EV charging plug installed and thought, well, might as well have extra outlets installed and ceiling fans too. The folks at Safety Home Services were so kind and responsive. Trevor at Safety home was able to give me an solution and start working on what needed to be done immediately. The solution and quote for everything that I needed to have done was about on par with what other places were quoting me. A bonus was the new monthly subscription at Safety Home that discounts 15% of any work done. Trevor was super professional and took time to explain all the ins and outs and made me feel good about the work that was being done. Being young and a first time homeowner can make it hard to trust whether people are being honest or trying to screw you over with work that has to be done on a home, but I never felt that way with Trevor and Victoria helping me out. They were super responsive and were always on time or communicative. I strongly recommend them for any first time homebuyers.

Safety provided excellent service! The tech (Kevin?) was a bit early, which was fine by me. I needed a new range hood/vent installed that I had already purchased on my own. He started by checking to see if the one I had was really dead or if there was a problem that could be remedied. He did discover that the fan wasn’t getting enough power to run and traced where the problem was coming from. He fixed it, but I wanted the new one installed anyway due to a color change. He got right to work getting the old one out and the new one in. He even made a trip to Home Depot to provide me with the correct light bulbs required, which I viewed as above and beyond. He was great to work with and I would recommend Safety to anyone in need of an electrician!
