Licensed Residential Electricians in Salem, OR, Serving the Willamette Valley

Safety Home Services is a residential electrical company based in Salem, OR, and a DBA of Safety Electric Inc. We focus exclusively on homeowners across the Willamette Valley, and that focus runs through everything we do, from the scope of work we take on to the standard we hold for every visit. Our team handles repairs and upgrades, but also the kind of careful, attentive service that turns a first-time customer into a repeat one.

Safety Home Services was built around a specific goal: to fascinate our customers, and that word choice is intentional. We’re not satisfied with “good enough” or even “problem solved.” We want every homeowner to feel the difference, from the first phone call with our office to the moment the technician closes the door: this experience was exactly what it should have been.

What Oregon Homeowners Say About Our Work

The electrician showed up on time and assessed the electrical issues on my girlfriends electrical panel at her house. The quote was free. He found there was a breaker that was incorrect for the panel and the main power breaker was somewhat corroded. He quoted us and then waited for the power company to shut off power and then fixed the issue promptly by installing a new correct breaker and then cleaning the panel. This was a big safety issue and the electrician waited patiently until our issue was resolved. The panel was sparking/arcing and created a fire hazard. As soon as the work was completed by Trevor the power in the home was working perfectly. We are grateful for the friendly and affordable service and especially how they were concerned with our safety and waited for the power company to turn off power and then fix our issue instead of rescheduling or going to a different job. Absolutely deserving of 5 stars!

I recently moved into my new home and had to have an EV charging plug installed and thought, well, might as well have extra outlets installed and ceiling fans too. The folks at Safety Home Services were so kind and responsive. Trevor at Safety home was able to give me an solution and start working on what needed to be done immediately. The solution and quote for everything that I needed to have done was about on par with what other places were quoting me. A bonus was the new monthly subscription at Safety Home that discounts 15% of any work done. Trevor was super professional and took time to explain all the ins and outs and made me feel good about the work that was being done. Being young and a first time homeowner can make it hard to trust whether people are being honest or trying to screw you over with work that has to be done on a home, but I never felt that way with Trevor and Victoria helping me out. They were super responsive and were always on time or communicative. I strongly recommend them for any first time homebuyers.

Safety provided excellent service! The tech (Kevin?) was a bit early, which was fine by me. I needed a new range hood/vent installed that I had already purchased on my own. He started by checking to see if the one I had was really dead or if there was a problem that could be remedied. He did discover that the fan wasn’t getting enough power to run and traced where the problem was coming from. He fixed it, but I wanted the new one installed anyway due to a color change. He got right to work getting the old one out and the new one in. He even made a trip to Home Depot to provide me with the correct light bulbs required, which I viewed as above and beyond. He was great to work with and I would recommend Safety to anyone in need of an electrician!

Licensed, Qmerit-Certified, and Ready for Whatever Your Home Needs

Safety Home Services holds an Oregon license and is certified by Qmerit, which sets a national standard for EV charger installation. We’re also Tesla-certified and ChargePoint-certified, having completed the specific training required to install both Tesla and ChargePoint home charging equipment. These credentials reflect a level of vetting and preparation that goes beyond a general electrical license, and they matter most for Willamette Valley homeowners.

Every service call also includes a 10-point safety assessment. We check the issue you called about and anything in your electrical system that could be connected to it. This isn’t an upsell. It’s how we make sure the full picture is clear before we leave, so problems get solved correctly the first time and your home’s electrical system stays safer overall.

What to Expect When Our Salem Electricians Come to Your Home

Our technicians arrive prepared and on time. Floor protectors go down before work starts, and our team works carefully throughout the job to keep your space intact. When it takes some digging to find the real source of a problem, we move furniture, look closer, and don’t wrap up until the work has been tested and confirmed. Before we leave, we walk you through everything so you know exactly how it works.

The cleanup is part of the job. Every technician carries what’s needed to leave your home the way they found it, and we hold that standard on every visit, regardless of scope. No dust on the counter, no footprints on the floor. The only sign we were there should be the work itself, done right and built to last.
