EV Charger Installation in Keizer, OR

Every night your EV sits in the garage without a Level 2 charger is another morning you’re starting with less range than you could have. A dedicated 240V circuit charges most vehicles four to eight times faster than a standard outlet — no planning required, no public stations, just a full charge waiting for you every morning. Safety Home Services handles the full installation for homeowners from panel assessment to final test.

We’re Qmerit, Tesla, and ChargePoint-certified, meaning our installations meet nationally recognized standards for residential EV charging. Our Salem-based team is just minutes from Keizer, handles all required permits, and walks you through everything before we leave.

Before You’re Ready to Plug In, Read This

We install all major EV charger brands, including Tesla Wall Connectors, ChargePoint, JuiceBox, and other leading residential chargers. Being Tesla-certified and ChargePoint-certified means we’re specifically vetted to install those brands to manufacturer standards. If you already have a charger in mind, let us know when you reach out, and we’ll confirm compatibility with your home’s setup.

Most Level 2 EV charger installations in a standard attached garage are completed within a few hours. Jobs that involve running a longer circuit to a detached garage, a subpanel, or a panel upgrade may take longer, and we walk you through the expected timeline before any work begins. In most cases, Keizer homeowners have a fully tested, ready-to-use charger the same day we arrive.

All EV charger installations in Keizer require a permit through Marion County, and Safety Home Services handles the entire permitting process as part of every job. Permitted work is inspected to confirm it meets code, and you’ll have documentation of the installation that’s useful if you ever sell the home or need to make a warranty claim. We never start an installation without the proper permits in place.

It depends on your panel’s current service size and available capacity. Many Keizer homes can support a Level 2 charger without any panel work, but older homes on 100-amp service sometimes need an upgrade first. We assess this during every EV charger job and walk you through the options before committing to anything.

Financing is available through Wisetack for qualifying jobs, which works with multiple lenders so more Keizer homeowners get approved than through a single source. Terms range from 3 to 60 months, and checking your options takes under a minute without affecting your credit score. Ask about it when you reach out, and we’ll walk you through what’s available.

Plug In With Total Confidence

A home EV charger is only as dependable as the installation behind it. Safety Home Services gives Keizer homeowners a clear, careful process from the first panel check to the final walkthrough, so you know your charger was installed safely and built for daily use.

Our Salem-based team is close by, familiar with local homes, and committed to doing the job right the first time. We explain what your electrical system can support, handle the required permit details, test the charger before we leave, and make sure you feel confident using it.

Charged Reviews From Keizer Homeowners

The electrician showed up on time and assessed the electrical issues on my girlfriends electrical panel at her house. The quote was free. He found there was a breaker that was incorrect for the panel and the main power breaker was somewhat corroded. He quoted us and then waited for the power company to shut off power and then fixed the issue promptly by installing a new correct breaker and then cleaning the panel. This was a big safety issue and the electrician waited patiently until our issue was resolved. The panel was sparking/arcing and created a fire hazard. As soon as the work was completed by Trevor the power in the home was working perfectly. We are grateful for the friendly and affordable service and especially how they were concerned with our safety and waited for the power company to turn off power and then fix our issue instead of rescheduling or going to a different job. Absolutely deserving of 5 stars!

I recently moved into my new home and had to have an EV charging plug installed and thought, well, might as well have extra outlets installed and ceiling fans too. The folks at Safety Home Services were so kind and responsive. Trevor at Safety home was able to give me an solution and start working on what needed to be done immediately. The solution and quote for everything that I needed to have done was about on par with what other places were quoting me. A bonus was the new monthly subscription at Safety Home that discounts 15% of any work done. Trevor was super professional and took time to explain all the ins and outs and made me feel good about the work that was being done. Being young and a first time homeowner can make it hard to trust whether people are being honest or trying to screw you over with work that has to be done on a home, but I never felt that way with Trevor and Victoria helping me out. They were super responsive and were always on time or communicative. I strongly recommend them for any first time homebuyers.

Safety provided excellent service! The tech (Kevin?) was a bit early, which was fine by me. I needed a new range hood/vent installed that I had already purchased on my own. He started by checking to see if the one I had was really dead or if there was a problem that could be remedied. He did discover that the fan wasn’t getting enough power to run and traced where the problem was coming from. He fixed it, but I wanted the new one installed anyway due to a color change. He got right to work getting the old one out and the new one in. He even made a trip to Home Depot to provide me with the correct light bulbs required, which I viewed as above and beyond. He was great to work with and I would recommend Safety to anyone in need of an electrician!
