Excellent Residential Electrical Services in Dallas, OR

Dallas homeowners tend to take their properties seriously, and that means holding the people they hire to the same standard. Safety Home Services serves Dallas from our Salem base, with licensed electricians who arrive prepared, communicate throughout the job, and leave every home exactly as they found it.

Every service visit starts with a 10-point safety assessment that looks beyond the reported issue to everything connected to it, so a small problem doesn’t quietly grow into a larger one. Floor protectors go down, floor savers go on, and everything gets cleaned up before we leave. The only sign we were there is the work itself.

The electrician showed up on time and assessed the electrical issues on my girlfriends electrical panel at her house. The quote was free. He found there was a breaker that was incorrect for the panel and the main power breaker was somewhat corroded. He quoted us and then waited for the power company to shut off power and then fixed the issue promptly by installing a new correct breaker and then cleaning the panel. This was a big safety issue and the electrician waited patiently until our issue was resolved. The panel was sparking/arcing and created a fire hazard. As soon as the work was completed by Trevor the power in the home was working perfectly. We are grateful for the friendly and affordable service and especially how they were concerned with our safety and waited for the power company to turn off power and then fix our issue instead of rescheduling or going to a different job. Absolutely deserving of 5 stars!

I recently moved into my new home and had to have an EV charging plug installed and thought, well, might as well have extra outlets installed and ceiling fans too. The folks at Safety Home Services were so kind and responsive. Trevor at Safety home was able to give me an solution and start working on what needed to be done immediately. The solution and quote for everything that I needed to have done was about on par with what other places were quoting me. A bonus was the new monthly subscription at Safety Home that discounts 15% of any work done. Trevor was super professional and took time to explain all the ins and outs and made me feel good about the work that was being done. Being young and a first time homeowner can make it hard to trust whether people are being honest or trying to screw you over with work that has to be done on a home, but I never felt that way with Trevor and Victoria helping me out. They were super responsive and were always on time or communicative. I strongly recommend them for any first time homebuyers.

Safety provided excellent service! The tech (Kevin?) was a bit early, which was fine by me. I needed a new range hood/vent installed that I had already purchased on my own. He started by checking to see if the one I had was really dead or if there was a problem that could be remedied. He did discover that the fan wasn’t getting enough power to run and traced where the problem was coming from. He fixed it, but I wanted the new one installed anyway due to a color change. He got right to work getting the old one out and the new one in. He even made a trip to Home Depot to provide me with the correct light bulbs required, which I viewed as above and beyond. He was great to work with and I would recommend Safety to anyone in need of an electrician!

Before You Call, Here's What Dallas Homeowners Usually Ask

Yes, we serve Dallas and the greater Polk County area. If you’re in or around Dallas, reach out, and we’ll get someone on your schedule!

Yes, and we’re always excited to help homeowners expand their hobby and work-project spaces. We handle the full installation, including permits, so the work is done to code and built to last.

Older homes get a thorough look before any work begins. Our 10-point safety assessment covers the reported issue and everything connected to it. If something unexpected turns up, you’ll hear about it clearly before we do anything about it.

Absolutely. EV charger installations are one of the most common requests we handle throughout the Willamette Valley. We’ll assess your panel capacity, walk you through your options, and complete the installation correctly, including testing with your vehicle when possible.

Aluminum wiring was common in homes built during the 1960s and 70s and does require specific attention, particularly at connections and outlets. It’s not automatically unsafe, but it should be assessed and maintained by an electrician familiar with the material. If your Dallas home was built during that period, a licensed electrician’s assessment is a worthwhile step.
