Tualatin's Electrician Has Arrived
We don't just say we fascinate customers — Tualatin homeowners have come to expect it.

Residential Electrical Services in Tualatin, OR

Word gets around fast in Tualatin. When a contractor does good work, neighbors notice. When they don’t, that travels even faster. Safety Home Services has built its reputation in this market the same way it has across the Portland metro — by showing up prepared, doing the job right, and never leaving until the home looks exactly as we found it.

Every job starts with a 10-point safety assessment that goes beyond whatever prompted the call. We look at everything related to the issue so nothing gets missed or patched over, and your home is genuinely in better shape when we leave. We protect your floors, work cleanly throughout, and vacuum up before we head out. The only sign we were there is whatever we fixed or installed.

Your Tualatin Home Is Well Maintained. Is the Electrical System?

Tualatin homeowners take care of their properties. The yards are maintained, the homes are updated, and the neighbors notice. But the electrical system running behind every wall doesn’t always get the same attention — and in a city where so many residents work from home, charge EVs, and run demanding households, that gap has a way of showing up at the worst time. If any of these sound familiar, it’s worth a call.

The electrician showed up on time and assessed the electrical issues on my girlfriends electrical panel at her house. The quote was free. He found there was a breaker that was incorrect for the panel and the main power breaker was somewhat corroded. He quoted us and then waited for the power company to shut off power and then fixed the issue promptly by installing a new correct breaker and then cleaning the panel. This was a big safety issue and the electrician waited patiently until our issue was resolved. The panel was sparking/arcing and created a fire hazard. As soon as the work was completed by Trevor the power in the home was working perfectly. We are grateful for the friendly and affordable service and especially how they were concerned with our safety and waited for the power company to turn off power and then fix our issue instead of rescheduling or going to a different job. Absolutely deserving of 5 stars!

I recently moved into my new home and had to have an EV charging plug installed and thought, well, might as well have extra outlets installed and ceiling fans too. The folks at Safety Home Services were so kind and responsive. Trevor at Safety home was able to give me an solution and start working on what needed to be done immediately. The solution and quote for everything that I needed to have done was about on par with what other places were quoting me. A bonus was the new monthly subscription at Safety Home that discounts 15% of any work done. Trevor was super professional and took time to explain all the ins and outs and made me feel good about the work that was being done. Being young and a first time homeowner can make it hard to trust whether people are being honest or trying to screw you over with work that has to be done on a home, but I never felt that way with Trevor and Victoria helping me out. They were super responsive and were always on time or communicative. I strongly recommend them for any first time homebuyers.

Safety provided excellent service! The tech (Kevin?) was a bit early, which was fine by me. I needed a new range hood/vent installed that I had already purchased on my own. He started by checking to see if the one I had was really dead or if there was a problem that could be remedied. He did discover that the fan wasn’t getting enough power to run and traced where the problem was coming from. He fixed it, but I wanted the new one installed anyway due to a color change. He got right to work getting the old one out and the new one in. He even made a trip to Home Depot to provide me with the correct light bulbs required, which I viewed as above and beyond. He was great to work with and I would recommend Safety to anyone in need of an electrician!

Before You Call, Here’s What to Know

We serve all of Tualatin and the surrounding Washington County area. Whether you’re in an established neighborhood or a newer development, we can get someone out to you quickly.

Yes, in fact, dedicated home office circuits are one of our most common requests in Tualatin, given how many residents work from home. A dedicated circuit keeps your setup running reliably without competing with the rest of the home’s electrical load.

Most significant electrical work in Tualatin requires a permit through Washington County or the City of Tualatin depending on scope. We handle all permitting so the job is fully compliant and you’re covered long after the work is complete.

Pacific Northwest storms are one of the most common causes of damaging power surges, and Tualatin’s exposure to wind and rain events makes whole-home surge protection a smart investment. A single surge can damage appliances, electronics, and HVAC systems instantly and protection is far less expensive than replacement.

In many cases, yes, but some panels need to be assessed or upgraded before a Level 2 charger can be safely added. Tualatin has a large number of homes built in the 1980s and 90s where panel capacity is worth checking before any EV charger installation begins. We evaluate this as part of every EV charger job and walk you through the options before any work starts.
